How to Make Recruiting a Part of Your Social Media Strategy

Jen Tiffany is a self-proclaimed social media enthusiast who finds great joy in discussing algorithms and brainstorming social media content.  In her 15th year as the Membership Director at the Cambria Regional Chamber, she’s developed new ways of recruiting, celebrating and retaining Chamber members using social media.  Her role includes developing and curating content for the Chamber on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube and assists Chamber members with their social media strategy.  Jen spent 10 years in media sales, management and marketing before moving back home to Johnstown and joining the Chamber.

 

Companies primarily use social media to reach customers and promote products and services, but did you know that it can be a powerful recruiting and retention tool?  Recruiters worldwide are utilizing it to find top talent and 41% of workers stated that they use social media to look for new job opportunities.

We’ll discuss content ideas to celebrate current employees, show your company as a great place to work, appeal to your ideal candidate and how to be more “social” as a company.
