Katie represents employers in significant class and collective action employment
lawsuits. Katie’s experience spans wage and hour and employment discrimination
across healthcare, construction, communications, financial, and energy industries,
among others. Her recent class and collective action experience includes enforcing
class and collective action waivers and arbitration agreements and defeating
motions to conditionally certify a collective action.
In addition to representing employers in class and collective action litigation, Katie
also represents employers in individual claims related to Title VII, the Age
Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the
Americans With Disabilities Act, and state and local anti-discrimination and equal
pay statutes. Her practice also focuses on advising employers with respect to
compliance measures that reduce employment-related issues.
